The Art of Connecting with Others

We all talk too much. Not only are we all talking too much, but we are listening too little. In fact, when we talk with someone, we are just expressing words between the two of you that process into the ideas we hope to share, but are we really communicating?

What if instead we connect with each other? What if we could communicate on a deeper level and understand what the other person is saying? We can!

We must stop merely talking to each other and take the time connect with each other instead. True connecting is a conversation where two people listen, reflect, reply, and challenge each other’s ideas. In this they are showing mutual respect and communicating on a deeper level. This process of connecting with your managers, team leaders, employees and everyone else you work with can lead to the change you’re looking to see.
